Hartley's Crocodile Farm
Two days ago we went on a roadtrip to see some crocs. We went for a boat tour in the water where they fed them. Let me say it was scary as fuck since they were so close to the boat.
I got to see and hold(!) little baby crocs, watch Australia's most venomous snakes, koalas and kangaroos. During our stay here we've seen a few kangaroos jumping around but now we got the opportunity to actually get in contact with them. I was surpised though since I had imagined them to be so soft in ther fur, but they were actually really rough and not that smooth like I had thought them to be.
For lunch we had caesar salad with crocodile(!!) instead of chicken.
And believe it or not - it was sooososo good! Tasted quite similiar to chicken but a bit fishy at the same time. A very light flavour like most white fish. Definitely having that again. I've heard that it is about the most healthy meat you can eat.
We went there with two guys that we have come to know here. When Subhani was working I went down to the lagoon by myself and got to know Mick on the picture with Mr Parrot hehe. He is from the Netherlands and the other one did I meet at my trial at Salt House. He is from Korea and the four of us had such a great day.
When we got back I went out for a long run. It was just the sunset and me. Greetings Miss Kangaroo lover.
