Hire me, please?

Okey so yesterday was the d-day. Last week we decided that this monday (yesterday) was suppose to be the day we started our job searching process. We went in and out in different cafes and restaurants and asked the managers if they were hiring at the moment. Most of them said no (obviously) but some of them said "maybe" or "it depends" so those were the places were I left off my resumes. It was actually one of them who offered me a trial later that night(!!) It was at some newly opened libanese restaurant (or something like that, not sure of the country heh). So I went down at 6:15 pm and tried working with the team for three hours.

My main task was to help the chef prepare the food, and then I mean such stuff as chopping some vegetables and cut chicken. I also got to do the dishes as well as taking orders from the customers. The worst part was in the beginning, when they wanted me to stand outside the restaurant and attract customers. I felt like a hooker(!?) After the three hours were done I ask him what he thought. He replied by asking me if I wanted to come at another trial in the kitchen only, since I told him that was the part I enjoyed the most. The trial implies that I have to work for free but afterwards they offer me a free meal from their menu that I can bring home to have for dinner. A great deal if you ask me, since the food was delicious.

Earlier this day we went down to the pier again and met our friend that we made the other day. Haha he has got a very nice boat so we hung out with him for a while since he is so guest friendly (like everybody else her) and tried to help us look up some possibilities for work.
